West System Epoxy Resin & Fast Hardener

The West System 105-B Epoxy Resin is a low viscosity liquid that is clear and light amber in color. It is specifically designed to bond with wood fiber, fiberglass, and some metals, and is self-leveling with roller applications. It cures in a wide temperature range and can be sanded or shaped afterwards, and has a relatively high flash point. When mixed with filler, it makes an excellent adhesive with reduced sag. The viscosity is approximately 600 cps at 70 degrees F, and it is recommended to use #301 mini pumps for accurate dispensing. The size is 0.98 Gallon.

The West System 205-B Fast Hardener is a medium-viscosity curing agent for the 105 Resin. It is used in a majority of bonding situations, particularly at lower temperatures, and produces a rapid cure that develops its physical properties quickly at room temperature. When mixed with the 105 Resin in a five-part resin to one-part hardener ratio, it yields a rigid, high-strength, waterproof solid with excellent bonding and coating properties. This hardener is not intended for clear coating and is matched for use with the 105 B size resin.

The 105 Epoxy Resin is the base material for all West System 105 System epoxy compounds. It can be easily modified with West System fillers, additives, and pigments to create the necessary handling characteristics for the job at hand. When combined with the blush-free 207 Extra Clear Hardener at a 3-parts resin to 1-part hardener ratio, the 105 Resin is excellent for coating and fiberglass cloth applications where an exceptionally clear, moisture-resistant, natural wood finish is desired.

The 205 Fast Hardener is a medium-viscosity epoxy curing agent that can be used with the 105 Resin. It is not intended for clear coating and is matched for use with the 105 B size resin.
